From a first responder
"Casey Brawner is a consummate professional who takes the time not only to listen and validate any concerns, but also provides real world suggestions and solutions in the most empathetic and respectful way possible. If you are ever in need of her range of services or assistance, I highly recommend her!

First responders encounter a wide variety of emergency situations on a daily, if not hourly, basis. These situations range from mundane encounters with members of the public to literal life-or-death situations involving victims and suspects of crimes or other incidents. Due to the fact most law enforcement agencies are currently short staffed, there generally is not time between calls for officers to process things they see and hear, which can result in unhealthy thoughts and feelings developing either in a short period after a traumatic event or long-term exposure to such situations. Some agencies have appropriate peer support branches to assist employees through these situations, but a lot of times, employees are not trusting of these support personnel for fear of being labeled weak or vulnerable. Reach out to Better Days. They can help you though it!"
Handling military family stressors
"Being a military family can be filled with exciting adventures, but it can also have its many challenges. Your family may be separated for weeks, months, sometimes even a year or longer, causing loved ones to miss out on everyday activities as well as huge life milestones together. You worry for their safety while trying to stay strong to ensure the home front is always taken care of which many times can be thousands of miles away from family. The time apart and long hours can add stress and strain onto yourself as well as your marriage and family. No matter how loving and supportive your family and friends may be, it's important to know you have someone you can reach out to that can help during all of life's highs and lows. Casey has helped our family in so many ways. She has given us a comfortable place where we can have open and honest communication, while constantly reminding us that she is here to support and help our family. Whether it is talking out a conflict, finding ways to help our children adapt to another new change, or providing resources to handle stressors in a healthier way, you can always tell she truly wants to help and is your biggest supporter. Casey has always been there to listen and reassure that we can work through any situation no matter how big or small it may seem to us. It is always a priority to her."
Post-partum depression, anxiety & marriage
"I would consider myself one of those people who has always been skeptical about therapy and not willing to prioritize my mental health. Once I set my stubbornness aside, I started to be proactive with it all. Casey has been such a blessing to me. She guided me through treatment routes and has been a solid support system through so many walks of my life. Her broad range of practice leaves no page unturned. It is one of the main reasons I've excelled as much as I have thus far. She has helped me through intense post partum depression, anxiety, and marital lows resulting in a better ME. I can confidently say I would not be in the improved state of mind I am currently in now if it weren't for Casey."
