Why mental health therapy?
  • Individual... anxiety, trauma, depression, abuse (no matter the cause), self-image, grief, stress

  • Family... can be triggered by strained relationships, stress, anger, communications concerns, trauma, coping with an illness within the family, the death of a loved one, divorce, sudden change, child custody or co-parenting concerns

  • Couples... you and your partner.  The goal is to focus on problems and work towards solutions. Issues may be related to communication, raising children, finances, understanding your or your partner’s mental health condition, infidelity, work stress, balance in the household, etc.

How often do ongoing therapy session occur?

We have found that therapy is most effective when sessions are scheduled on a weekly basis.  It is possible to increase the time between sessions as progress occurs and you start to build confidence in the ability to create change on your own.
